One of the highlights of this weekend is without question this all-Top 8 affair between the Warriors and Sharks.

The Warriors are without plenty of talent with Mitch Barnett and Kurt Capewell on Origin duty with a further five top liners out led by James Fisher-Harris.

The Sharks have Addin Fonua-Blake on Origin duty and Blayke Brailey and Nicho Hynes out – but Cronulla have been playing just as well with Hynes out as in.

The big angle here is to be against the Warriors because of their position in the market. The Warriors are 4-13 against the spread when favoured by 8 or more including a 1-10 ATS record at Mt Smart when favoured by eight.

Cronulla won this matchup earlier in the year while the Sharks are 18-14 ATS as an underdog.

Cronulla are getting too many points.

The Warriors have shown few vulnerabilities this season but one area that has been exposed is their left edge defence, Billy Burns comes back into the team and will be operating on the right in place of Briton Nikora and he has been very good this year when given an opportunity to start. He has four tries in eight starts this year and has been running as hard as he ever has.
