Host nation Canada will look to go deeper into the tournament than ever before, and it will require them to win their first game at this level.
Bosnia and Herzegovina haven’t made the World Cup since 2014, and Qatar were the previous host nation.
The Swiss ran into a buzz saw last Cup, losing to Portugal 6 -1 in the round of 16.
Group B
Best Bet
Group B could be a coin toss between Canada and Switzerland, but I see only those two countries advancing.
Canada have a lot to prove after their 2022 campaign finished with no wins, they get the chance to show they belong at this level and on home soil.
Switzerland however have been a top 20 ranked team since the last Cup and will be happy not run into South American squads early in the tournament.
We should get a good look at them tomorrow night, as they take on the Aussies in an international friendly.
