Salizou comes back to the races after a short freshen having shown plenty of talent at her first two starts. She won well on debut at Stawell back in December then ran well in what proved to be a hot form race behind Barari in May despite some bad luck in the run. That has been a hot form race. Her recent trial on the synthetic was impressive and if she brings that form to the turf she should be far too good.

The only potential issue here is the inside draw but she does have in-form apprentice Jabez Johnstone to ride. If he can get away from the fence, this is an ideal race for her.

Our Wind Chymes just found one too strong last start at this track but should be suited dropping back from 1200m back to 1000m. The Henry Dwyer trained mare hasn’t missed the quinella from three starts and with John Allen up should be able to find the best ground from the wide draw.
