Al Duca ran second to Enxuto last time at Sandown and that form looks very good for this race. The Anthony and Sam Freedman trained gelding maps to control things from barrier three in this and there doesn’t look to be anything of Al Duca’s quality in this race.

Loved the recent return of Carbanados at Sandown when he ran second to Sunshineinmypocket. In his first Aussie prep he looked like he could be anything before being a touch disappointing last time around. Suspect he is back to that best form and if he maintains it here he will be very hard to beat from a suitable draw.
