Racing Tips – Friday Racing Tips for Kembla

It’s one of the big days in the Illawarra region as the Group 3 Keith F Nolan Classic for the fillies highlights an excellent day of racing. The track is rated heavy at time of writing but drying weather is forecast.

Best Bet

4. War Ribbon
Kembla R3 (3.05pm)

War Ribbon looks an outstanding bet in the Stayers Final off the back of an effortless win at Wyong. Leading all the way, the three year old put seven lengths on his rivals and did it on the bridle. This is a step up but one his well capable of taking. Look for him to show up in the ATC Derby and he could be a lovely horse for a race like the VRC St Leger too.

Recommended Price: $2.00
Confidence Level: 4.5/5

More Racing Tips

7. Puzzler
Kembla R1 (1.50pm)

Top local trainer Mitch Beer can get a winner here in the opener. Puzzler has been very good in two runs from a spell, finishing third in both contests at here and Wyong. The extra 200m looks ideal for him and he draws to get the run of the race.

Recommended Price: $4.60
Confidence Level: 3/5

6. Kibou
Kembla R6 (4.55pm)

I really like the way that Kibou has been trialling leading into this race, winning both of his hitouts in a manner that suggests he should be primed and ready to go for his first up tilt. He didn’t win a race last prep but has run well in stronger contests than this and he handles all conditions.

Recommended Price: $5.00
Confidence Level: 3/5
