Derrick Lewis is a much harder opponent, but it’s either get knocked out or knock someone out when it comes to Lewis. There is no middle ground with the hard-hitting American, who knocked out Rodrigo Nascimento last year.

He hasn’t fought since May of last year, which could work against him. His lack of Octagon time won’t help against Teixeira, who is the $1.33 favourite, and punters get better odds for him to win by knockout.

Stephen Thompson vs. Gabriel Bonfim

The glory days of Stephen Thompson could be behind him, which is why he’s attracting no attention with UFC odds. Wonderboy is a $4.10 chance to win against Gabriel Bonfim, who has an impressive 17-1 record.

Bonfim scored a submission win over Kalinn Williams in February, and this is a good stepping stone fight for the talented fighter. Should be get past Thompson, the door should be opened to much bigger fights next year.

Punters get only $1.24 for Bonfim to win, but we have him winning by submission. He should pay around $2.20 to win by sub, so jump on those odds when available.

Calvin Kattar vs. Steve Garcia

There isn’t much between Calvin Kattar and Steve Garcia with bookmakers, where Garcia is the $1.79 favourite. Garcia is the younger fighter at 33, and he looks to win his first fight of 2025 having beaten Kyle Nelson and Seung-Guk Choi last year.

Kattar could be up against it on Sunday. He’s the older fighter and he has a significantly shorter reach, which was an issue when losing to Youssef Zalal in February.

That performance wasn’t overly impressive, so we’re enticed by the $1.79 odds for Garcia to grind out a win.

Nate Landwehr vs. Morgan Charriere

Most of the money has come for Morgan Charriere at $1.40, but there is much better value in backing Nate Landwehr at $2.97.

He might be the older fighter at 37, but he has a reach advantage over Charriere, and he has also taken on some good fighters throughout his UFC career, including Dan Ige and David Onama.

Charriere has 11 losses on his record, so we can’t justify the short odds with the favourite. He is susceptible against fighters with experience, and although he might have time on his side as a 29-year-old, he could come up short at UFC Fight Night.

Vitor Petrino vs. Austen Lane

Austen Lane isn’t always a smart bet, especially when fighting the likes of Vitor Petrino, so we’re not including him in our UFC picks this week.

Lane often looks like the better fighter, but he disappoints on the big stage, and at 37 years of age, he’s running out of time to get back into contention in the heavyweight division.

Petrino is amassing a tidy career with 11 wins and two losses, and he’s looking to bounce back after suffering those two losses in consecutive fights. They came against Anthony Smith and Dustin Jacoby, and he should be beating fighters like Lane.

$1.15 is short, so look for him to pay more in KO markets.

Junior Tafa vs. Tuco Tokkos

Junior Tafa has plenty of knockout power, and although his career has been marred by injury, that could all be in the past on Sunday.

We’re backing Tafa to win by knockout over Tokkos, who is 10-5, and we don’t think he’s on the same level as Tafa. That’s why Tafa is a $1.57 favourite, which is a good price with UFC Fight Night betting odds.
