UFC 315: Muhammad vs. Della Maddalena Main Card Picks
Belal Muhammad vs. Jack Della Maddalena
As much as we want to see Australia’s Jack Della Maddalena win on Sunday at UFC 315, we can’t see him pulling off an upset over Muhammad.
Belal Muhammad isn’t one of the most liked fighters in the UFC, but the welterweight champion is better than he gets credit for. He defeated Leon Edwards to win the title in 2024, and although this is his first defence, we’re picking him to come out ahead.
The $1.44 favourite deserves to be respected in betting markets, and although Della Maddalena is a tough customer with a 17-2 record, we don’t think he’s up to becoming a UFC champion.
Valentina Shevchenko vs. Manon Fiorot
Valentina Shevchenko is one of our all-time favourite fighters, and we’re finding it tough to bet against her at UFC 315. She has been an incredible fighter, and the flyweight champion doesn’t deserve to be paying $2.30.
Manon Fiorot is the $1.62 favourite to take the belt away from the champion, and we’re not discounting her rise through the division. She made Erin Blanchfield look second rate in March, and that followed a narrow and controversial win over Rose Namajunas.
Shevchenko is all class, and she got her title back when beating Alexa Grasso. That was a win for the ages, and we’re picking her to keep winning.
Jose Aldo vs. Aiemann Zahabi
With 75 years between them, Jose Aldo and Airmann Zahabi look to turn back time on Sunday.
Aldo, a former champion, isn’t fighting at the peak of his powers. He comes off a loss to Mario Bautista, where he was out struck by the younger opponent. That is a concerning fight, but he’s a $1.44 favourite for a reason.
Zahabi is 12-2, but he isn’t a big name in the UFC. He has gone about his business quietly and he’s riding a lengthy winning streak. However, he has yet to face someone like Aldo, and if Aldo is anywhere near his best, he wins.
It’s a tough fight to predict, but UFC 315 could be one for the ages, and the champions and former champions could reign supreme.
Alexa Grasso vs. Natalia Silva
Most of the betting with UFC odds has come for Natalia Silva, who looks to improve her record to 19-5-1 following a win over Jessica Andrade.
She landed 117 significant strikes on Andrade, compared to 50 from the former champion, and that can’t be overlooked. It’s why she’s the $1.44 favourite, but Grasso is the former flyweight champion, having lost her belt to Shevchenko.
She put up a good fight, but she landed only 18/100 sig strikes. She needs to fight with more aggression and power to beat Silva, but the $2.87 odds are attractive. We don’t see much value in backing Silva at the short odds, so we’re taking the risk with Grasso.

UFC 315 Multi Bet
Muhammad anchors our UFC 315 multi at $1.44, and we can’t see him losing his belt one fight after winning it. He is a strong contender for best fighter of the card, so we’re backing him.
We’re also including Aldo, Malott, and Bukauskas in our four-leg multi. Aldo can turn back time and beat a much less accomplished fighter, and Malott and Baukauskas are good prelim card fighters.
