We’ve got a huge Quarter Final on Day 10, with Alexander Zverev and Taylor Fritz meeting for the 16th time over their career. Can the German continue his hot form at Grand Slams, or will it be the American?
Best Bet
You can make a case that Taylor Fritz is playing the best tennis of any player on the men’s draw this Wimbledon.
The American has the best serve and return percentage of any player at 113.2 – edging out both Sinner and Zverev who sit in the 112s.
Another advantage for Fritz is his recent record against Zverev. He has troubled the German, winning their last seven meetings, which includes three grass court meetings – the American winning in their Semi Final meeting at Halle only a few weeks ago.
Zverev had a long fortnight at Roland Garros which generally doesn’t translate to Wimbledon success, and with this being his third consecutive day of play due to his match with Lehecka being played over two days, it’s going to be hard to back-up with everything in Fritz’s favour.
Next Best
Cobolli smashed De Minaur in straight sets, and although this is becoming a bit of a theme in our Betseeker tennis previews, the Australian was truly insipid against an opponent who is not 100% and not suited to the grass courts – with our Day 8 unders bet cashing, but not how we envisaged.
I’ve still got my concerns with Cobolli though, with his opponent in the Quarter Final playing with house money with two come from behind victories in his last two matches against Bergs and Dimitrov.
Fery has covered as underdog in his last six matches on grass at main level, winning five of them, and will have the home crowd support on his side. He did beat Cobolli earlier this year at the Australian Open, but the Italian was not well so we shouldn’t read too heavily into that. But it’s a solid head start for the Brit in this, and I’m happy to take the +4.5 game handicap.
Value Bet
It’s hard to split these two, but Linda Noskova has played well as a favourite this year while Mertens has struggled as an underdog, which is why I’m leaning towards the Czech.
Noskova is 5-2 against top-40 opposition when listed as favourite this year, with a serve and return total of 107.2. As for Mertens, she’s only 1-6 as an underdog in 2026, with a serve and return total of 92.5 – but that one win did come at Wimbledon against Rybakina.
The Belgian doesn’t play in many three-setters – of her last 26 matches against top-50 opposition, 20 of those have been straight sets results. If Noskova can strike early and win the first, she can finish this quickly.

Fritz (M)/ Noskova (W)/ Kostyuk (W) = $4.10
