Can Taylor Fritz become the first American male since Andy Roddick to win the US Open, or will it be major number two for Jannik Sinner?
Jannik Sinner vs Taylor Fritz

Jannik Sinner should win his second Grand Slam title, but with the Fritz serve and the American crowd I expect this to be closer than the $1.20 price suggests.
Although a lot has changed with Sinner’s game since their last two meetings, the career head-to-head is one-apiece, both matches being played at Indian Wells with Sinner winning their most recent encounter last year 6-4 4-6 6-4.
The Fritz serve has been outstanding all tournament, winning over 70% of service points in all six matches he’s played this US Open. But he made the Semi Final a lot tougher than it needed to be against an opponent in Tiafoe he had dominated for years – he cannot give Sinner the same luxury in this.
Although Sinner won in straight sets, it was also a match which was more difficult than it needed to be as the Italian statistically dominated Draper but we still saw two sets get to seven.
With Draper’s serve game similar to that of Fritz, I think we will see at least one tiebreak in this Final and expect Fritz to take an early set which will be enough to see the total games clear – Sinner in 4.
