Racing Tips – Wednesday Racing Tips for Sandown and Warwick Farm

Midweek racing comes from Sandown in Victoria and Warwick Farm in New South Wales. Fine conditions can be expected at both venues.

Best Bet

4. Seven's
Warwick Farm R2 (2.55pm)

Seven’s made a strong Australian debut here three weeks ago, getting home strongly after being the subject of good market support ($13-$7 late). The gelding was twice a winner over 2000m+ in France so the step up in trip looks ideal. Ideally drawn and better for that experience, he’ll take a lot of beating.

Recommended Price: $3.00
Confidence Level: 4/5

More Racing Tips

2. Conchiero
Warwick Farm R3 (3.30pm)

There was plenty to like about Conchiero’s first up run here a fortnight ago, just finding one too strong late over 1200m. Suspect that with the step up to 1400m from the wide draw Regan Bayliss will go straight to the front, he will be fitter for that effort and should prove hard to catch.

Recommended Price: $4.40
Confidence Level: 3.5/5

7. It's A Wonder
Warwick Farm R6 (5.15pm)

It’s A Wonder is coming off an ordinary performance but she gets the blinkers on for the first time, which is a gear change a long time in the coming given her sometimes lethargic attitude – and her dam Allez Wonder famously won a Toorak in blinkers. Capable of sharp improvement here.

Recommended Price: $7.50
Confidence Level: 3/5

4. Lovin' Laughs
Sandown R8 (7.30pm)

Lovin’ Laughs is worth a throw at the stumps in the last. The eight year old isn’t the most talented, but he is fit, in-form and loves this track. If Neil Farley can get a couple of soft mid race sectionals, he will take some running down. Each way play at big odds.

Recommended Price: $15
Confidence Level: 3/5
