Racing is back at Sandown on Wednesday on a good track but with some late storms possibly arriving for the quaddie legs.

Marilyn’s Edge was a brilliant debut winner at Kyneton last October before being thrown in the deep end in a couple of black type races. Spelled since, she comes back to the 1000m here which will suit and her trials leading into this have been excellent. Should show plenty of speed here and prove hard to catch.

The form held up from her debut with the winner Farcited only being narrowly beaten in the Black Opal (run in track record time) last Sunday. Better for that experience, she looks well placed here.
