Yachiyo is a lightly raced Japanese bred mare who has had just the four Australian starts but has showed a lot of ability, even though she has won just one of her four races to this point. She was desperately unlucky on debut and could well have won the $300K Future Stars final at Pakenham. Spelled since the autumn, the Price/Kent trained mare has been jumping out very nicely for this.

Algorithmic had all three runs in stakes company as a two year old and was far from disgrace in any of them, particularly his last one where he ran fifth in what turned out to be a strong edition of the VRC Sires Produce. Gelded since, the Hawkes trained galloper finds a nice race here with Blake Shinn up.

Tiz Time is having her first start for new trainer Shane Jackson, who is having a phenomenal run at present. I really liked this mare’s recent jumpout at Casterton where she ran third under very little pressure to two group horses in Is It Me and Wrote To Arataki. She can definitely measure up here.
Recommended Price: $5.50

Enzedder was a touch disappointing last time at Sale but he was too keen in the run and as a result Mick Kent – as good a trainer of stayers as anyone – has elected to take the shades off here. If he settles better, his previous form suggests he is well capable of taking out a race like this.
Recommended Price: $4.80
Confidence Level: 3/5
