Racing Tips – Wednesday Best Bets for Sandown

Midweek racing comes from Sandown Racecourse on what should be a perfect track for an eight race program.

Best Bet

2. Hello World
Sandown R3 (2.10pm)

Hello World resumed with a nice second placing at Caulfield in a stronger race than this. The Hawkes trained gelding goes up to 61Kg for this race but draws to get all the favours and has plenty of tactical speed. He was a second up winner last time in.

Recommended Price: $4.00
Confidence Level: 4/5

More Racing Tips

1. Dubai Moon
Sandown R4 (2.45pm)

Dubai Moon is a tough customer to get past. The veteran stayer was beaten a long way over a mile last start but out to his optimum trip he can improve sharply. Look for Dakotah Keane to press forward and take plenty of catching.

Recommended Price: $9.00
Confidence Level: 3/5

10. Everlong
Sandown R5 (3.20pm)

Everlong won a Wellington Boot on debut and they don’t give those away. Results since then haven’t been great in only two starts but he has been jumping out really well for new trainer Nikki Burke. The booking of Craig Williams is also a strong push. Nice play at odds.

Recommended Price: $17
Confidence Level: 3/5

5. Prowling
Sandown R7 (4.30pm)

Prowling looks well placed here third up off the back of two solid runs in Saturday city grade at his first two this prep, where he was beaten just 1.7 lengths last time at Moonee Valley. Sandown is a much better track for him and getting that man Craig Williams on as well as a set of winkers are both ticks.

Recommended Price: $13
Confidence Level: 3/5
