Racing Tips – Wednesday Best Bets for Sale

Racing on Wednesday is at Sale in Victoria’s Gippsland region. The track is presently rated soft and some rain is forecast for the day.

Best Bet

8. Paris Affair
Sale R4 (2:45pm)

Paris Affair made an excellent debut at Sale and the three year old is certainly bred to appreciate the step up in distance he will get in this race. The son of Tavistock got well back in the run on debut at Geelong but ran through the line well. Damien Oliver rides and he strikes a winnable race.

More Racing Tips

14. Over Shady
Sale R2 (1:35pm)

Over Shady looks hard to beat dropping in class from a BM64 back to a maiden. The Mat Ellerton trained filly has already earned over $80,000 and been placed three times in metropolitan races. This looks a suitable assignment and she is favourably drawn.

Recommended Price: $3.80
Confidence Level: 3.5/5

6. Rose Dior
Sale R5 (3:20pm)

Rose Dior ran third at Sandown last time out and the form out of that race has been strong with the winner and runner up coming out and winning again since. The mare’s best performance have come at his track, where she boasts two wins and a second from four outings.

Recommended Price: $4.40
Confidence Level: 3.5/5

1. Blistering
Sale R7 (4:30pm)

Blistering is a classy mare who looks well over the odds. I loved her most recent jumpout where she ran through the line very strongly. Although she has to contend with the 61Kg, on her home track, class can prevail.

Recommended Price: $4.60
Confidence Level: 3.5/5
