Satin Image was a dominant winner last time at Pakenham and can repeat the dose on his home deck. Last start he went straight to the lead and showed a nice turn of speed to really run away from his rivals late. Expect similar tactics here and for him to take all the catching.

Boronova is a recent acquisition to the Maher/Eustace stable and and is capable of figuring here second up. The ex-Perth galloper had a tough assignment first up at Warrnambool, he should strip fitter from that and this isn’t very strong. Just needs some luck from the wide draw.

Rain Lord is building an impressive record with two wins and three seconds from six starts. Spelled since December, he’s been jumping out really well at Flemington showing abundant early speed. Despite the draw, he should be able to lead or at least sit outside and prove hard to catch.
