The mare experienced a tough run there as well, being posted wide and doing plenty of work in the run, so to stick on and run fourth was a top effort. She gets her chance here.

No knock on the favourite Regal Vow but can’t help but think the gap in the market between her and Bavarian Lady is too big. Bavarian Lady was excellent first up at Sandown and loves wet ground, having two wins to her credit on heavy. Well drawn and weighted with the claim, she’s a solid bet at $5 or better.
