Just needs some luck from the wide draw early to take a lot of beating. It’s also Zac Spain’s only ride at the meeting.

Hurry Up Poppy is a first starter who finds a very weak maiden here notwithstanding the $75K prizemoney on offer. The Mick Kent trained mare jumped out really nicely four weeks ago at Cranbourne, with some excellent form out of the race including Marilyn’s Edge (second in a 1000m race first up at Caulfield), Kokako (impressive Pakenham winner) and Chocolate Box (unlucky firstr up at Seymour). Looks really well placed if she runs up to that, even with the wide draw.
