Racing Tips – Tuesday Best Bets for Warrnambool

Warrnambool isn’t just about the jumps, there are plenty of winners to be found on the flat as well. The track is currently rated a Soft 6 and clear conditions are expected.

Best Bet

Warrnambool 7/8 Boyszee (2:55pm)

There is very little between Boyszee and Cadbury Castle – they dominate the market – and that doesn’t make much sense. They both come off last start wins on the same day, but Boyszee ran almost three seconds faster. Cadbury Castle gets 2Kg off Boyszee but that doesn’t look near enough.

Recommended Price: $2.80
Confidence Level: 4.5/5

More Racing Tips

Warrnambool 4/11 Pondetera (1:15pm)

Pondetera comes off a last start third placing in South Australia and the form out of that race has proved strong with the runner up winning since. The blinkers go on and Michael Hickmott knows how to set one up for a carnival.

Recommended Price: $3.50
Confidence Level: 3.5/5

Warrnambool 8/4 Think ‘n’ Fly (3:30pm)

Tom Dabernig is contesting his first carnival as a local trainer and this horse looks like an excellent chance of giving him a win. With key chances in the market lacking race fitness (Heart of Puissance) or being a risk at the trip (Bermadez), this bombproof galloper looks excellent value.

Recommended Price: $4.00
Confidence Level: 3/5

Warrnambool 10/15 Lulu Darling (4:30pm)

Lulu Darling just ran out of fitness first up and was probably entitled to do so given that she was first up for almost nine months. Look for a more conservative ride here, the talent is certainly there if the breaks go her way.

Recommended Price: $5.00
Confidence Level: 3/5
