Racing Tips – Tuesday Best Bets for Wangaratta

Tuesday’s racing comes from Wangaratta with eight races to be run, commencing at 1.30pm. Our best bet is a promising stayer from the Hayes stable.

Best Bet

1. Henry Robin
Wangaratta R4 (3.00pm)

Henry Robin is an emerging stayer that looks set to break through here over the 2000m. Bred along stamina lines, he’s had the two runs for two placings at Swan Hill and Kyneton, hitting the line well on both occasions. Out in trip, he finds a very winnable maiden.

Recommended Price: $3.30
Confidence Level: 4/5

More Racing Tips

4. Silent Alert
Wangaratta R1 (1.30pm)

Silent Alert looks well placed here first up. The son of Shamus Award showed good ability at two with a debut placing at Echuca. Spelled and gelded since, he’s tuned up for this with three jumpouts, winning the most recently convincingly at Flemington. Ideally draw, he can win this.

Recommended Price: $5.50
Confidence Level: 3/5

17. Flick Roll
Wangaratta R2 (2.00pm)

Flick Roll has the pedigree to be handy and the Godolphin filly, trained by Anthony and Sam Freedman, has some decent jumpout form. She has had just the one run for a fifth placing in a synthetic maiden last year but there have been several winners to come out of the race. Capable of showing up at big odds.

Recommended Price: $8.00
Confidence Level: 3/5

3. Neto
Wangaratta R8 (5.00pm)

Neto produced one of the more impressive maiden wins that you are likely to see here last start when caught wide throughout. Despite the jockey taking off at about 800m, he circled the field and absolutely gapped them late. He looks to be a horse with a lot of talent and should prove very hard to beat again.

Recommended Price: $3.20
Confidence Level: 4/5
