Tuesday’s racing comes from Kyneton, just north of Melbourne. The track will be rated good.

Seeking Glory gets her chance third up. The Maher/Eustace trained mare has been good in two runs back from a spell in much tougher grade. The lightly raced six year old drops in class here to BM58 and gets the benefit of the claim for Codi Jordan. This looks a very winnable race.

Palantus should be too good here first up. The half brother to Junipal and Palentino had two starts for two seconds back in the spring, and the form out of those races has held up well. The Maher/Eustace stable look to have him primed and ready to go off the back of some solid jumpouts.

Local trainer Mick Sell’s horses always need to be respected here and he looks to have a good chance with Ventoso. The gelding has run well in two starts back from a spell despite some poor racing manners, but he went back to the jumpouts and raced much more tractably. Expect her to lead and take all the catching.

Queen of Malwa was green on debut but she wasn’t beaten far in what looked to be a very strong maiden at Pakenham. Getting out to 1400m looks ideal for her and from a favourable draw, she should be able to take up a prominent role. Looks an excellent bet at double figure odds.
