Racing Tips – Tuesday Best Bets for Gosford

Racing on Tuesday is at Gosford on the Central Coast of NSW.

Best Bet

1. Stonecoat
Gosford R6 (4:55pm)

The Waterhouse/Bott stable is the in-form stable in Australian racing at the moment and they can get yet another winner here with Stonecoat. The Pierro gelding stuck on gamely first up at Hawkesbury when beaten a length and should only strip fitter here. Tim Clark should fire straight to the front and take all the catching.

Recommended Price: $2.50
Confidence Level: 4/5

More Racing Tips

2. Cappelleti
Gosford R1 (1:50pm)

Cappelleti has failed to translate his trial form into raceday form yet but he resumes here as a gelding and the ultimate gear change should spark some improvement. His most recent trial at Rosehill saw him win in spectacular fashion and if he brings that to the races, he will be too good for them.

Recommended Price: $2.50
Confidence Level: 4/5

3. Mountain Guest
Gosford R3 (3:05pm)

Mountain Guest wasn’t given much chance first up at Kensington, getting back in a slowly run race and only battling to the line. Expect the filly to strip much fitter for that run and she finds a very winnable race. While she has drawn wide, she has shown speed in her races before so hopefully Tom Sherry presses forward and makes his own luck on her.

Recommended Price: $4.00
Confidence Level: 3/5

3. Ceasefire
Gosford R7 (5:30pm)

Ceasefire is a fresh specialist with two wins from three first up attempts and is capable of taking out this race fresh. The Paul Messara trained gelding has come here off the back of two solid trials and it is noteworthy that he has sent him down all this way from Scone for his first up assignment. With a perfect draw, he can get rewarded.

Recommended Price: $4.80
Confidence Level: 3.5/5
