The form out of that race has proved strong with the runner up winning yesterday and the third placegetter ran second in a much stronger affair at Geelong. Drawn well, Raging Monkey should have no trouble finding the lead and will be very hard to catch.

Double Rock finished third on debut at Mildura but the form out of that race has been good with the winner, Magic Chloe, winning again since in town, and the last placed horse scoring at Cranbourne. The race experience and extra trip should be to his benefit here. Can go close at a nice price.

He was just a run short last time at Warracknabeal and gets a 2Kg swing from Vivacious Award, who he meets again. Jarrod Fry should press forward – on a track where leaders are well suited – and prove hard to run down.

Albiton is a last start maiden winner up in class but she ran decent time compared to the stronger class race on the same day, leading all the way. Donald is a track where front runners are suited and she should be able to find the front despite the wide draw. If she can, expect her to be hard to run down at good odds.
