Racing Tips – Tuesday Best Bets for Armidale and Pakenham

Expect heavy going at Armidale, Pakenham is on the synthetic.

Best Bet

1. Bishop
Pakenham R1 (12:30pm)

There are few chances in the opening race and keen to be with the least experienced of them, Bishop. The Nikki Burke trained gelding made an excellent debut over 1500m at Cranbourne where he ran through the line very strongly. The extra trip looks ideal and Jackie Beriman can hopefully position him a little closer in the run.

Recommended Price: $3.00

More Racing Tips

11. Global Sensation
Armidale R1 (12:20pm)

Global Sensation is having his first start for new trainer Stirling Osland and he looks poised to make a winning debut for his new, in-form stable. His recent provincial maiden form should stack up well against this lot.

Recommended Price: $3.00
Confidence Level: 3.5/5

7. Kaido
Pakenham R4 (2:00pm)

Brett Prebble comes out to Pakenham for one ride on Tuesday and it’s easy to see why he was keen to be with the Clinton McDonald first starter after some impressive jumpouts. This race has some depth to it but he’s come up a nice price and can win.

Recommended Price: $5.00
Confidence Level: 3/5

1. Fight On Shades
Armidale R8 (4:35pm)

Keen to stick with the Osland yard in the last. Fight On Shades is an ex-Victorian who ran a very good race at his first start for the new stable at Moree, finishing third after being a big drifter in the betting. Suspect he will improve considerably from that and prove hard to beat with any luck from the draw.

Recommended Price: $3.30
Confidence Level: 3/5
