Racing is back at Pakenham on Thursday night which will be a magnificent evening for thoroughbred racing.

Wascaly looks nice value to close out the Pakenham meeting. The talented seven year old has to carry the big weight here (although apprentice Chapman takes 3Kg off) but he gets a nice drop in class from BM64 to BM58 company. Draws well in what looks a fairly ordinary field.

Both of Tumbling’s career wins have come resuming from a spell and the first up specialist can get the coin again fresh. Trainer Gavin Bedggood has him trialling up well. Don’t expect him to lead here but he can sit just off them and use the long straight to run over the top.

Let’s Trot was a touch disappointing last start but with blinkers going for the first time he is capable of sharp improvement, and the tongue tie points to a possible excuse for the run. Damian Lane sticks and his best form is certainly good enough.
