If you can look past Goondiwindi’s flop over the hurdles last start and go on his good flat run at Geelong prior – his first in a couple of years – he’s capable of being very competitive in what is a thin race over 3200m. Tom Madden should hopefully press forward from the draw and get a good run on speed.
