Star Patrol is a new acquisition to the Clinton McDonald stable and has some excellent recent trial form in addition to having been placed in three of his six starts. Damien Oliver rides and should give him every chance from the good draw.

Pakenham 7/6 Son of Emperor (8:45pm)
Son of Emperor joins the Price/Kent stable from David Payne and if he can find some of his best form he should be too good. The lightly raced three year old typically leads in his races and at the very least should be somewhere on speed. His recent jumpout at Cranbourne was very good.
