Makarim is a debutant from the Tony and Calvin McEvoy stable who has shown plenty of ability at the jumpouts. He has plenty of early speed so suspect he can cross from the wide draw and lead. Thought the stable may try and kick him off at 1000m but they know what they are doing and with his seeming talent, he should prove hard to beat.
