Racing heads to Warrnambool on Sunday for a meeting that will be run on heavy ground with the possibility of even more rain around.
Best Bet
This year’s Koroit Cup looks a race in two between Bold Bourbon and Mister Me. Mister Me is hard fit, loves wet ground and has the ability to race on the speed. He was terrific in the Woodford Cup last week. Expect him to lead and that on pace advantage can prove decisive.
Recommended Price: $2.50
Confidence Level: 4/5

Halvar was terrific on debut running on strongly against the pattern before disappointing next time out at Flemington. Happy to overlook that run and coming back in trip and getting around a bend again should see him find his best form. Breeding suggests wet ground should hold no fears.
Recommended Price: $2.00
Confidence Level: 4/5
Last time Pannier raced over this track and trip on a heavy track he was a dominant winner during the Warrnambool May Carnival. Two runs this prep have yielded an excellent second placing first up at Geelong before a flop second up at Seymour. Back to his preferred conditions, he should be very hard to beat.
Recommended Price: $3.50
Confidence Level: 3.5/5
Grassmere Jewel has won four of her eight starts and can prove hard to beat here again. The mare comes off a good last start third over this track and trip last week, and comes back to BM64 company with the benefit of the 3Kg claim for Jaylah Kennedy. She is a proven commodity on wet ground.
Recommended Price: $2.50
Confidence Level: 4/5
