There is not much to go off, but if the Maher/Eustace stable thought he was worth bringing all the way to Australia for jumping, it would be disappointing if he couldn’t win a flat race like this on the way through. His recent jumpout was solid.

Imminance is having her first run for new trainer Matthew Brown after showing nice ability at two. She pinged the lids in her most recent jumpout and was super impressive leading all the way, with the more than handy Nadal chasing her home. 1000m at Mornington is perfect for her, she can lead all the way.

Perfect Ending was a beaten favourite first up but she is much better placed here second up. She is one from one second up, and has won her only start at this track. Expect Dakotah Keane to stalk the favourite Justifiable Award and hopefully prove too strong late.
