Treasurethe Moment was a beaten favourite first up in the Futurity but given how her campaign in the spring unfolded it would not surprise at all if trainer Matt Laurie held something back with a view to peaking here. This is a top class mare on her day who is capable of sitting off Pride of Jenni and proving too strong late.

This is a great edition of the Randwick Guineas and the Victorian, formerly Queensland visitor can get the cash. She has been electrifying in her last three wins, demonstrating the brilliant turn of speed that only very good horses have. Wet ground holds no fears and she will get every chance from barrier four.

Prepared to give Beiwacht another chance here. The colt has been a touch disappointing since his track record breaking win in the Golden Rose, but both of those runs were down the Flemington straight and he likely wasn’t suited over 1000m first up. Out to 1300m is better for him and his best form is well and truly good enough.
