Happy to play Damask Rose at a price in the Toorak. Her first up run was exceptional over 1200m then she didn’t have much luck in the Rupert Clarke last time out. Third up out to 1600m she will be at peak fitness here and can also sit closer in the run with Jamie Melham up.

As usual the Golden Rose form looks superior coming into the Guineas and the best expression of that is Wodeton. There might not be a three year old on earth that would have beaten Beiwacht that day as he broke the track record but Wodeton was the clear second pick. Out to a mile holds no fears either.

Miss Roumbini just about should have beaten Sepals in the Rupert Clarke and she gets her chance to get revenge here in the Alan Brown. The fast pace here over 1400m sets up beautifully for her and – as shown in the Clarke – she has a brilliant turn of foot on her day. Should come storming over them late.
