Loved the return of The Volta at Mornington. Getting back to last he rattled home to finish second at a track where front runners are notably favoured. From the wide draw he should be back of midfield again but the pace looks genuine. Can fly over the top of them late.

Wonder Boy won the Guineas on this day last year and while he did lose form towards the end of last year, he showed he is back to his best with a good closing finish at Rosehill before winning in dominant fashion at Mornington last time.
