Racing Tips – Saturday Best Bets for Sandown

There is no group or listed racing at Sandown on Saturday but big sized, competitive fields should make for an excellent betting program.

Best Bet

4. Rheinberg
Sandown R9 (4.05pm)

Rheinberg is a super reliable commodity and he can win again here. The gelding was enormous last stat at Caulfield when caught wide throughout behind Chorlton Lane and he he should get a much better run here from barrier three. The gelding ticks every box in terms of being suited by the conditions of this race.

Recommended Price: $4.40
Confidence Level: 4.5/5

More Racing Tips

6. Enna's Dream
Sandown R3 (12.25pm)

Enna’s Dream made an enormous impression first up at Caulfield, flashing home to run third over 1100m. The filly ran the fourth fastest last 400m and 200m of the meeting and given her excellent form out to 1400m, she should only be better suited here second up. Nice race with some talented types, but she is a very worthy bet.

Recommended Price: $4.00
Confidence Level: 4/5

6. The Genius
Sandown R5 (1.35pm)

The Genius is a promising stayer who looks well placed here dropping in class. He tackled BM84 grade second up at Caulfield, finishing fourth, and drops to BM70 company here. The gelding was only second up in that race so should have good fitness improvement still. John Allen just needs some luck from the wide draw.

Recommended Price: $6.00
Confidence Level: 3/5

4. Precious Charm
Sandown R6 (2.10pm)

Precious Charm was unwanted in betting at the Warrnambool Carnival but produced a huge form turnaround to win in dominant style. That got back to the form she showed last prep and she has now won four of her seven starts. Jordan Childs and Symon Wilde are a great pair to follow, with a 24% strike rate and +27% ROI this season.

Recommended Price: $4.00
Confidence Level: 4/5

8. Fengarada
Sandown R7 (2.45pm)

The formguide will tell you that all six of Fengarada’s wins have come on heavy tracks but four have coming in the six starts since he joined the Leek stable so I’m not convinced he can’t run well on something firmer. He certainly did first up at Warrnambool against the bias and he can do so again.

Recommended Price: $5.00
Confidence Level: 3/5
