The ex-Darwin galloper has been sent down to renowned barrier guru Julien Welsh to fix his manners at the start and his recent jumpout suggested that has done the trick. He looked terrific against some top horses including Rey Magnerio and Rose Quartz. Capable of running slick time, he should be in the finish here.

Sandy Prince brings a very strong formline into this race which is his last start second placing behind Boldinho at Ararat. That horse came out and bolted in at Caulfield last Saturday. It was an enthralling head to head battle between those two horses. Sandy Prince finds an easier contest here and his on pace style will be suited.
