She knocked off Arkansaw Kid last time at Moonee Valley and that form was confirmed when that horse won at Flemington last week. The mare drops back to her own sex here and from an ideal draw should take all the beating.

He has shown the ability to race on speed in the past so hopefully Blake Shinn goes forward from the wide draw and end up in a better spot than the favourite and key danger, stablemate Quantum Cat.

Too Darn Lizzie comes down to Melbourne following a solid first up run in Sydney and she should benefit from a slightly easier level of competition down here. As you would expect form the Waterhouse/Bott stable, she should lead them up and take a lot of catching.

Chinny Boom is a fascinating runner having her first start for new trainers Moody & Coleman. She won nine of her seventeen starts in Queensland including at listed level two starts back. Importantly for this race she has the ability to race on speed and that can prove helpful here.

Que Tempesta would nearly have won on his Australian debut here three weeks ago had he been able to find clear going at the right time. The Hayes trained import steps up to 2000m now and based on his European form, he should only be better out to this trip especially with the run under his belt.

Deny Knowledge comes into the Underwood Stakes off a short break from the Grafton Cup where she was last seen leading all the way. The mare has always had talent and now with the Anthony and Sam Freedman stable, she presents as an intriguing runner in what shapes as a very even Group 1 contest.
