Colmar looks the value in the opener at Caulfield. The SA visitor comes off a good run in the Sandown Guineas, a much stronger race than this, and is well in after the claim for Jaylah Kennedy. She should press forward and sit outside the likely leader Lario, but is capable of getting him late.

Moveforlex is probably better suited over 1800m or 2000m but his first up run over 1300m was so good that it compels having something on him here second up over a mile. Harry Coffey has options to go forward or back but if he can just get a nice run and not be trapped wide, he is well capable of figuring in the finish here at nice odds.

Looks a race in two here between Miraval Rose and Miss Altair but happy to be in the camp of the former given how well she comes in here under the set weights and penalties. Her recent form in stakes level is excellent and the Grahame Begg stable is flying at present.

Trainer James Cummings has elected to put the blinkers on Inhibitions and he has an excellent record when doing that. His recent Sydney form around Uzziah and Briasa is particularly strong for this and if he can have any luck from the draw, should be very hard to hold out if the blinkers do their job.
