Ginger ‘n’ Pink has put together back to back wins and there is no reason she can’t make it three on the trot. The Snitzel filly gets out to 1400m for the first time but the way she has been running through the line over 1200m, she should relish it. From barrier two, she can likely sit closer in the run as well. With a race fitness edge over key rivals expect her to be very hard to beat.

Hard to look past Midtown Boss in the opener. The gelding has shown a lot of talent in his career thus far and has performed well down the straight. Now with a new trainer Matt Laurie, he has been jumping out very nicely for this race and should take all the beating.

Imported galloper Whisky on the Hill was a total forgive run on his Australian debut at Sandown when he was severely checked in the home straight. Out to 1800m here and with a favourable draw, he is one of just two rides for Blake Shinn on this card. Suspect he is open to big improvement and I think he would have finished right alongside Texas Tea – favourite for this race – without that interference.

I’m A Dirty Rascal has struck form since joining the Waterhouse/Bott stable with back to back placings at 2400m in his last two runs in Sydney. The former was an eye catching finish at Rosehill before he was one paced under a huge weight last time at Randwick. He will absolutely relish the 2800m here.

Unusual Culture looks primed to peak here third up over 1400m. The mare comes off a second placing in the Kevin Heffernan Stakes at her last start and while she does come back to handicap conditions, she isn’t too badly weighted. With any luck early from the draw she can be winning this.
