She comes off the back of some solid form in her home state, winning two of her last three before running midfield behind Duke De Sessa and Marble Arch in what has proved to be a strong form reference at Caulfield. Local A Samurai Mind looks the only real danger but Elphinstone is well in under similar weights.

Taramansour looks a very worthy favourite for the 2025 Adelaide Cup. The gelding was the pick of the runs in the key lead up to this, the Lord Reims Stakes, coming from near last to almost win. Trainer Phillip Stokes has won this race in two of the last four years and he also scratched the antepost favourite for the race due to weight. From barrier three he won’t need to be nearly as far back this time.

Thought ex-Singapore galloper was a worthy play here at his first Australian run. He was a very classy animal over there and typically goes well fresh. Off the back of a couple of solid jumpouts he can make his presence felt at a nice price.
