Richard and Will Freedman’s horses are always hard to beat on this side of the Blue Mountains and they can get another winner here with Forbidden Riff. The gelding was a solid maiden winner two back before going down narrowly last time at Canberra. Should lead all the way.

Danielle Sieb had the original favourite for this race but scratched leaving Motorboat as her only runner at the meeting. She can certainly go close in this weaker affair. The mare hasn’t been seen since August but her Wellington maiden win prior was most impressive. Trial form has been solid and she should lead.
