Racing Tips – Monday Best Bets for Scone

Racing on Monday comes from horse country, Scone in the heart of the Hunter Valley.

Best Bet

10. Kissaki
Scone R5 (3:50pm)

Kissaki comes here off a brilliant trial win and should be ready to win at her second race start. Her first race start at Newcastle last year saw her place behind the talented Godolphin filly Pinnace, who has won twice since. The Paul Messara/Aaron Bullock combination is on fire with wins at five of their last six outings together.

Recommended Price: $2.70
Confidence Level: 4.5/5

More Racing Tips

5. Rimbaud
Scone R1 (1:25pm)

Rimbaud looks poised for a winning debut here at Scone. The Annabel Neasham trained colt brings some nice trial form, having won his most recent hit out at Rosehill, and chasing home the smart Platinum Jubilee prior to that. Expect him to lead and take all the catching.

Recommended Price: $3.00
Confidence Level: 3.5/5

1. Hammoon Sky
Scone R4 (3:10pm)

Loved the debut of Hammoon Sky when he was caught wide at Tamworth throughout but ran through the line strongly. That was only 1000m but he looks like he should relish the extra trip here. From a good draw he should get the right run and looks a great winning chance even though this maiden has depth.

Recommended Price: $4.50
Confidence Level: 4/5

1. Casino Lord
Scone R7 (5:10pm)

Casino Lord looks well placed in the Country Championships Wild Card. The gelding comes off a terrific third in the Hunter qualifier where he ran third behind Akasaka and Running Bear. The former is an emerging star while the latter has won since at Warwick Farm. From barrier five he should sit closer in the run and prove awfully hard to beat.

Recommended Price: $4.60
Confidence Level: 4/5
