Racing Tips – Monday Best Bets for Dubbo

Monday’s racing comes from Dubbo with hot and dry weather forecast. Our best bet is a last start Highway winner.

Best Bet

5. Wilbury
Dubbo R6 (4.40pm)

Last start Highway winner Wilbury looks brilliantly placed here in a Country BM74. He was a tough on pace winner at Wyong last time in much stronger company so if he maintains that form it’s near impossible to see him getting beaten on his home track, even with the 3Kg rise in the weights.

Recommended Price: $1.80
Confidence Level: 5/5

More Racing Tips

6. Royal Defence
Dubbo R2 (2.10pm)

Royal Defence has been terrific in two runs since joining the Lou Mary stable for this campaign, placing third first up at Muswellbrook before running a close up second last time at Gunnedah. That looks the right form for what looks a pretty weak affair, especially with blinkers going on for the first time.

Recommended Price: $2.50
Confidence Level: 4/5

5. Man From Brussells
Dubbo R7 (5.20pm)

If it had drawn a gate this horse would be nearly a good thing, but nevertheless if Matt Cahill can have any luck early from the wide draw it should still be very hard to beat. The first up run here was excellent in slick time, he’s lightly raced with ample upside.

Recommended Price: $3.30
Confidence Level: 4/5
