Fighting Sanami was a terrific maiden winner first up at Cranbourne and looks well placed to win again. She went straight to the front and gave nothing else a chance there, so from barrier two she should take up the running and prove hard to run down once again.

Makusha showed a lot of ability at his first prep, and the form around horses like Squad, Angry Skies and so on has held up very well. Getting into a small field first up should suit him, expect him to get back in the field but he should be close enough to give them something to think about late. Jumpouts have been very good.

Nijiko was plain first up over 1000m but she clearly wants further than that so prepared to give her another chance over the 1350m. She is a mare with some ability and looks over the odds here. Billy Egan will likely take her back in the field but should be flying home late.
