He’s got plenty of early speed so from barrier three should lead or be right up there. The gelding won his most recent trial at Muswellbrook beating a handy one of Kris Lees. Looks the right form.

Lady of the Hunter produced a sharply improved effort at Coffs Harbour last start, finishing third. She backs up quickly into this very ordinary maiden and back on her home track, looks nicely placed. There looks to be good speed so she can hopefully sit third or fourth and be too strong late.

Zoffany’s Gaze has been in great form of late and will relish getting out to 1900m here. His last run over 1600m at Tamworth was excellent considering he had to carry the 62Kg (he drops to 55Kg here) and didn’t have much luck in the straight. From barrier one he will do no work, just needs to get off the fence at the right time.
