Saving the best until last here with Supervise. The Russian Revolution three year old was a top winner at Seymour last time out, running faster time than the BM58 on the same card, and the strength of the form was confirmed with the second placed horse winning earlier in the week. He has plenty of early speed so should be right up there again. Trainer Carly Thomas’ stable is in great form with three winners from her last eight runners.

Pretty thin race to kick off the day at Ballarat and Evil Lover looks the value. From the in-form Shane Nichols stable, she has shown some ability having placed at four of her eight career starts. The filly has trialled up well enough and draws to get the right run from barrier three.
Recommended Price: $4.60
Confidence Level: 3.5/5
Tom Dabernig doesn’t bring too many runners to the synthetic but has a very good strike rate when he does. Lady Prancealot failed first up on soft so prepared to give her a chance once again on the artificial surface. She showed nice talent at her first prep and should the run of the race here.
Recommended Price: $4.20
Confidence Level: 3.5/5
