Given a long spell since, he resumes as a gelding and his manners look a lot better going on his recent trials, with him leading in his most recent being very encouraging. If he is wound up for this he will take a power of beating.

Blitz Air ran down the track last time at Warrnambool but it’s a tough school down there and he had no favours from a 100-1 shot stopping in front of him. Back to the 1000m on the track he ran well at on debut with the blinkers going, he is well capable of bouncing back hard.

Carnevale showed enough in the early jumpouts to be sent out favourite on debut in the Group 3 Maribyrnong Plate on debut over the Melbourne Cup Carnival and he was far from disgraced finishing fourth. There has been some good form out of the race as well. His recent jumpouts have also been good and he looked to have no problems in rain affected going.
