Nevertheless he still ran an excellent race and is very well placed against a weaker field, especially with the form holding up last Saturday through Astral Flame. Just needs any luck from the wide draw to be winning.

The gap in the market between Tarvue and Steel Run looks way too big here. Tarvue ran a terrific race at Flemington last time, just being left a sitting shot late, and she maps to get a very soft lead here. Should run the 2500m out strongly as well.
