Best Bet

2. Adelante
Cranbourne R5 (7.15pm)

Very keen on Kiwi filly Adelante at her Australian debut. The daughter of Swiss Ace won her last start in NZ brilliantly, leading all the way to win by four lengths. Switched over to here by Mark Walker, she has trialled up nicely for this and should kick things off with a win.

Recommended Price: $2.60
Confidence Level: 4/5

4. Kazungula
Cranbourne R2 (5.45pm)

Kazungula didn’t show a lot on debut but was a sharp improver at his second start when jumping from 1600m to 2200m, getting beaten in a close finish at Geelong. The gelding should only keep improving and strikes a very suitable race to break through in.

Recommended Price: $4.60
Confidence Level: 3/5

3. Lennystar
Cranbourne R3 (6.15pm)

Lennystar gets a really good chance to win here. He resumed his second campaign with a much improved run at Sale in a race that has already produced some good subsequent performances. Blinkers go on for the first time and from barrier three she should get the right run.

Recommended Price: $5.50
Confidence Level: 3/5
