Racing is back at the Valley on Friday night and our best bet will be piloted by Craig Williams. The track will be rated good with a few showers around.
Best Bet
I think three wide with cover will be the place to be in this 955m race as a lot of the potential leaders should tire off the likely frantic pace and there are a couple drawn inside who will act as roadblocks. This gelding has run very well in stronger races here first and second up, if he gets that right run he should fly over them late.

Papal Army looks well capable of turning the tables on Kalukoi from their last start meeting at Cranbourne. Kalukoi had the advantage of a red hot leader bias on that day and goes up 2Kg. Papal Army can sit right on him here and be too strong late.

Sweethearted comes out of a particularly strong maiden on debut where he and another debutant, Fieldelo, fought the race out in a stirring battle on Kilmore Cup day. There was five lengths to third. This is a very strong maiden, but he looks capable of taking the next step.

King’s Capital just never got into the race first up at Donald that was dominated by an all the way winner. He finds a much more suitable assignment here second up over a mile and remember that the ex-HK galloper did string together three wins last prep. Well in after the claim for Dakotah Keane. Overs.
