Racing Tips – Friday Best Bets for Ascot, Canberra and Sale

Sale - Expert Horse Racing Tips

Conditions at all venues should be perfect. Here are our Friday racing tips for Ascot, Canberra and Sale.

Best Bet

Sale 5/3 Uncle Bryn (3:20pm)

Uncle Bryn is ideally placed at his second Australian start. The English import is particularly well in under the set weight conditions of this race and his first start at Sandown behind Old Flame was highly encouraging. Highly surprised that he isn’t favourite and betting up accordingly.

Recommended Price: $3.00
Confidence Level: 4.5/5

More Racing Tips

Sale 6/4 Brooklyn Hustle (3:55pm)

Brooklyn Hustle has good each way appeal here. The mare has a booming finish on her day, and her last start run in the Group 1 Galaxy ran well. The wide draw is no disadvantage given her racing style.

Recommended Price: $8.00/2.70
Confidence Level: 3/5

Canberra 7/9 Miss Ostend (4:40pm)

Miss Ostend has long looked like a filly who would appreciate the blinkers and she finally gets the shades on for the first time here on her home track. Her first up second placing at this track suggests she is going as well as ever, if the blinkers do the job then she should be winning here.

Recommended Price: $4.00
Confidence Level: 3.5/5

Sale 8/4 Brooklyn Boss (5:05pm)

Brooklyn Boss looks a tremendous bet in the get out. Hoping the inside isn’t too badly chopped out by this point but suspect that it will be fairly warn all over. If he does get the right run in transit he is capable – as he did first up at Pakenham – of blowing away his rivals late.

Recommended Price: $5.00
Confidence Level: 3.5/5

Ascot 8/4 This’ll Testya (7:05pm)

This’ll Testya is drawn to control the race from up front. With key rivals tending to get back in their races the last start Listed winner should press forward and likely lead. She will take a lot of catching.

Recommended Price: $3.60
Confidence Level: 3.5/5
