Racing Tips – ANZAC Day Best Bets for Flemington and Moe

Betseeker has you covered for free expert horse racing tips and best bets at Flemington and Moe.

The traditional ANZAC Day meeting comes from Flemington and there is also a very attractive bet on the card at Moe.

Best Bet

1. Dubai Moon
Moe R5 (3.36pm)

Dubai Moon is in terrific form since his hurdle trials and can win again. The gelding struck a rich vein of form in the summer months, notably winning three straight and his last two runs over 1800m at Kyneton, then in a strong maiden hurdle, were excellent. Back to his ideal trip here he should lead and take a lot of catching.

Recommended Price: $4.00
Confidence Level: 4.5/5

More Racing Tips

1. Aberfeldie Boy
Flemington R3 (2.10pm)

Aberfeldie Boy has been terrific in two runs this prep and gets out to his right trip here. The gelding has only had one start over the 2500m but it was a terrific third in the VRC Derby 18 months ago. He does have to carry the big weight but a number of key rivals are similarly treated and class should prevail here.

Recommended Price: $4.00
Confidence Level: 4/5

1. Rue De Royale
Flemington R4 2.45pm)

Rue De Royale is the class in this race and can bounce back from a flop in the Golden Slipper. His prior form, particularly his second in the VRC Sires behind Traffic Warden is outstanding for this. Will get back in the run but can finish over the top of them.

Recommended Price: $4.00
Confidence Level: 4/5

1. Ganbare
Flemington R5 3.20pm)

The Waterhouse/Bott stable has won three of the last six runnings of the VRC St Leger and they can get another one with Ganbare. The gelding flopped in the ATC Derby but happy to attribute that one to the heavy track. His prior form including a fourth in the Rosehill Guineas is simply a class above anything else in this field.

Recommended Price: $2.70
Confidence Level: 4/5
